Anne, who is a partial orphan, came to Cana Rescue Center when she was 10 years old. Her father died when she was two years old, and her mother struggled to try to give her children a good life. Anne is the last born in the family of five. Anne’s mother started working at Cana Rescue Center as a permanent house mother, therefore Cana administration allowed Anne to also live at the Centre. Compassion for Africa began sponsoring Anne beginning in her primary education and has continued through her High School education.
Anne is currently 16 years in Form 2 at Gathirimu Secondary School. Anne loves to dance and is very artistic.
