Rehema: is a four-year-old born into a family of four siblings, who lives with her unemployed mother in a single overcrowded room in Mukuru slum. Since the death of the father in 2023 the family struggled with extreme poverty and often goes days without food. An organization took the boys but was unwilling to help Rehema and her mother. Rehema and her mother came to Cana Rescue Centre seeking help. At that time Rehema was very malnourished and needed to be rescued. Compassion for Africa has begun sponsoring her and she is now living in the Rescue center where she receives love, healthy food, a warm bed and will be enrolled in school when her health is strong.
Happy to report that Rehema has regained full health and has been attending PP1 at Kings Cana school.
