Patience Mutheu

05/14/2015

Patience:  She was rescued by a good Samaritan, as she had been abandoned by her alcoholic mother.  She was then taken to Makadara Children’s Office where the office tried to trace the mother, but the mother disappeared leaving the child with nobody to take care of her. When she came to Cana Rescue Centre in January 2021, she was malnourished, traumatized, and not going to school. She is now attending sixth grade at Cana Kings Academy School and succeeding in her studies well. Patience is being sponsored by Compassion for Africa and all of her needs are being met.

Patience is now settled into living with her Cana friends, sleeping in a warm bed, eating good food and loving school and church. Patience is a delightfully joyful and spontaneous child, and so fun to be with.
