I came to the Cana Rescue Centre at the age of seven in the year 2012. I lived in Mukuru Kwa Reuben with both of my parents, who had a challenge in paying for my school fees and catering for needs due to their low incomes and joblessness. After seeing my potential in studies and a light in our family to get them out of poverty, a headmaster from Cana King’s School, introduced me to Cana Rescue Centre. I was then sponsored by Compassion for Africa who have paid for all my needs, and education continuing into college.

I’m currently pursuing Clinical Medicine and Surgery at Kenya Medical Training College on a three-year program and would like to specialize and be an anesthesiologist, or if God Is willing, a doctor. I love drawing lovely pictures and paintings and making people feel special and appreciated. I also am good at giving hope and encouragement using my own story as an example.
